History
The Chicken Kitchen in Williamston opened in 1972 for take out meals. In 1988, the restaurant expanded with a beautiful sit down area.

The cooks at The Chicken Kitchen in Williamston have all been trained well by Nell Price who has worked at The Chicken Kitchen since the late 1970’s. Each cook puts their heart into their cooking just as Nell taught them to. The breakfast menu slogan is “we make it your way”. Along with fried chicken for lunch and dinner, The Chicken Kitchen offers a variety of seafood. Soft serve ice cream rounds out your lunch or dinner.
Owner Biography
Joe Bowles is the owner of The Chicken Kitchen in Williamston. He opened The Chicken Kitchen in Williamston after having success with his first restaurant, The Chicken Kitchen in Edenton. Joe expanded the menu in The Chicken Kitchen in Williamston. Joe has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and was The Assistant to The President of Hardees before starting his successful career owning restaurants.
