The Dragon Buffet is located at 1409 W. Ehringhaus Street in the Southgate Shopping Mall in Elizabeth City. It is just a short drive from The Museum of The Albemarle, Elizabeth City State University and The U.S. Coast Guard Base.
The Dragon Buffet serves fine oriental food on a large buffet including a Mongolian Bar and Sushi Bar. The Buffet serves over 100 dishes every day. You can also eat in or take out from a more traditional Chinese Menu. The Dragon Buffet has won several Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Oriental Food.

History
The Dragon Buffet has been a family business starting as the Chinese Buffet in 2001. In 2004, Gogo and Chen Zhang changed the name to Dragon Buffet. With wonderful success, they increased the size of the restaurant to 299 seats in 2008. The Dragon Buffet is now established as a premier oriental restaurant in Elizabeth City.
Owner Biography
Gogo Zhang started working in an oriental restaurant in 1999. He learned the business from the ground up working in several positions before taking ownership of the Dragon Buffet. Gogo and Chen Zhang pride themselves on serving a large selection of excellent, fresh Chinese food. The buffet includes seafood such as coconut shrimp, mussels, flounder in the evening and Alaskan Snow Crab on weekends. It also includes meats, vegetables, fruits and desserts. The Mongolian Bar and Sushi Bar are included in the price of the buffet giving you a wonderful variety of delicious oriental food.
