George created a warm and relaxing atmosphere by using a “wine” theme décor.  You will also find bird houses made out of the corks from wine bottles hanging from the ceiling.  They are available for purchase if you would like one to hang in your house or give as a gift.  Guest can enjoy delectable dishes such as Lump Crab Bisque, Pesto Crusted Sea Scallops over Sautéed Broccoli Rabe or Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb topped with Mushroom Demi Glaze. Complete the experience with one of the forty different wines they feature.

If you are looking for an elegant relaxing fine dining experience, George would like to invite you to come join him at the Flying Fish Cafe!

Chef Biography

Flying Fish Cafe

New Chef Arrives From Austin!

Flying Fish Cafe wants to welcome our new Chef, Milton Ailes to the staff.

Words from Milton Ailes:

My upbringing in south Louisiana began my love of food and introduced a diversity of exciting flavors to my palette. Thus began my odyssey of professional training throughout the kitchens of New Orleans, which has continued on through the awe- inspiring mountains of Colorado, the hip, urban culture of Austin, Texas, and now to the beautiful shores of North Carolina. I consider my 20 years in the restaurant industry to be a solid foundation on which to continually build and challenge myself to find interesting and tantalizing ways to improve upon my craft. By joining the already highly successful team at the Flying Fish, I will bring a new flavor to this fine establishment while maintaining the high standards already in place. I invite you to come see the new things in store and look forward to your visit.
