Fun, friendly, family dining! Mulligan’s Raw Bar and Grill, across from Jockeys Ridge on the Bypass, is the place to go if you want the “Best Burger on the Outer Banks”. Just look for the beachy sun-yellow building with the second and third floor decks.
As you walk in the front door you are warmly greeted by a smile from one of Mulligan’s professionally trained staff members. Depending on party size, table preference or theme preference you will have the pleasure of enjoying the golf room decorated with golf plaques and memorabilia, the nautical room where you will be surrounded by pictures of fish and fishing poles hanging from the ceiling or the second floor beach room with mounted surf boards and bar area.
There is also a sports bar on the first floor and outside seating available on the second and third floor decks. If you choose to take advantage of the outdoor seating there are games including "bean bag toss" to entertain you while you wait for your food. To satisfy your musical side Mulligan’s offers live entertainment every night from 6 to 9 p.m.!

Mulligan’s Raw Bar and Grill strives to be a positive influence on the community. They support the Green Initiative by trying to use all green products and recycling. Gus Zinovis, owner of Mulligan’s Raw Bar and Grill, is on the Board of Directors for the Outer Banks Hotline, which is a crisis intervention and prevention center.
At the beginning of 2008, we at Mulligan’s decided that we were going to make every possible effort to Go Green!! The first step was to institute a recycling program, in which we have already begun with the help of Dare County and the Town of Nags Head. All oyster shells, cardboard, cooking oils, glass and plastic are recycled and we try to recycle as much of our paper products as we possibly can. We have also started buying recycled paper products and ecologically friendly cleaning supplies and have just purchased re-useable carry-out bags. And we are proud to be one of the first restaurants on the Outer Banks to go completely Styrofoam free. Our carry-out containers are now all made of biodegradable bamboo and we have replaced plastic in every instance that we could.
We also plan to request permits in the near future that will let us place windmills on the restaurant property, allowing us to generate up to 80% of all of our energy needs. And we plan on continuing our efforts into the years to come to do our part in keeping Nags Head and the Planet a cleaner, greener place to live!
From the menu, Mulligan’s serves lunch and dinner featuring everything from “Shrimp and Grits” to grilled yellow fin tuna. There is also a kids coloring menu available for the pint size members of the family! For those of you who enjoy fishing try the Fisherman’s Catch. With advance notice, Mulligan's will cook YOUR catch of the day and serve it up family-style for only $9.99. If it is your birthday or anniversary, just let your waiter or waitress know and Mulligan's will help you celebrate with a slice of their Hot Fudge Cake! You can share your wonderful dining experience with other friends and family by giving them a gift certificate, available at the hostess stand.
The owner of Mulligans is Gus Zinovis, and he is always around to greet new customers and locals that come in a few times a week! Gus Decided to move the Restaurant from the old oceanfront location to the new location at milepost 13 on the Outer Banks in 2006. He and the Staff have never looked back. In 2009, construction of the long awaited outdoor deck began and Mulligan's has now open and rockin'.

This place has such a great atmosphere. Many different levels and kinds of seating... outdoor deck, indoor bar, indoor raw bar, dining room, whatever atmosphere you're looking for; they've got it. Live music and great drink specials. BEST shrimp 'n' grits I've ever had.
