At Napoli Pizza and Italian Restaurant, they cook Italian food the Sicilian way.  Everything is homemade on site, and there is plenty of good Italian Food to choose from. The pizza is hand tossed, the pasta is served with your choice of delicious toppings and the chicken, veal and seafood dishes are made using authentic Italian recipes.  Located in downtown Murfreesboro on 331 East Main St., Napoli is close to Historic Murfreesboro and Chowan University.

History

Napoli Pizza and Italian Restaurant opened in Murfreesboro in 1993. There was a need for a good Italian Restaurant and Tony Costanza and Tony Rovereto decided to fill this need. Both Tonys had extensive experience in restaurant ownership and brought their considerable cooking and restaurant management skills to Northeastern North Carolina.

Chef Biography

Napoli Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Tony Costanzo was trained in the fine art of Italian Cooking at the Scuela Albergliera, a premier cooking school housed in a beautiful 16th century palace in Palermo, Sicily. He learned to prepare traditional Italian dishes as well as some unique Italian meals including Ziti Carbonara and Tortellini Allapanna. Tony brought his fine cooking skills to America in 1975, and has since taught his chefs the marvelous cooking techniques he learned in his native Sicily.

Tony Costanzo and Tony Rovereto share ownership of Napoli Pizza and Italian Restaurant. Each partner spends six months at the restaurant,  and then returns to Sicily to immerse themselves in the Italian Culture. This enables them to cook and serve you the best Italian food you have tasted. Since 1975, Tony Costanzo has lived in America owning Italian restaurants in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Northeastern North Carolina. Tony Costanzo is known as the “life of the restaurant”. You will find him joking around daily to the enjoyment of his many customers.

    Amazing!!

    Wonderful food in a relaxed atmosphere, it was the bright spot of my day and the mushroom ravioli with carbonara sauce does not disappoint!!!
