Ernest and Nancy Huettmann founded the Acre Station Meat Farm. Ernest grew up in Germany where he learned the butcher trade at the early age of 16. He came to America to seek work and married Nancy. Through determination and hard work they were able to purchase a Dairy Farm in NC which they called Acre Station Meat Farm. The Huettmann family’s strong commitment to “Fresh Cuts, Friendly Service” has kept customers coming back since 1977.

Sharon Daniels has loved cooking at Acre Station Meat Farm since 2003. She is an excellent southern cook who learned how to cook from her mother and her grandmother. Sharon and her staff serve up tasty breakfasts fast. Daily lunch specials include Sharon’s Surprise on Monday, Chicken Casserole on Tuesday, BBQ Chicken on Wednesday, Fried Pork Chop on Friday and Hamburger Steak on Saturday. Scrumptious collards are cooked on Thursdays. Other specialties include huge meat farm burgers, succulent fried chicken, tasty tamales, southern style chicken salad and everybody’s favorite - peach cobbler. Sharon creates a friendly atmosphere and teaches all of her staff to take extreme care with the food they prepare. They treat every one of their customers right.

The Huettmann family continues to carry on the dedicated tradition of providing fresh food and friendly service that was started by Ernest and Nancy Huettmann. Brothers Ronnie and Richard Huettmann and their families work hard to make sure the food they provide is excellent and the service they and their staff provide to customers is prompt and thorough. You will always find smiles on their faces. They love what they do! They believe that their customers are their most valuable assets. Customer satisfaction is the top priority at Acre Station Meat Farm.

   Great Place to Shop

   I love shopping at the Acre Station Meat Farm. They have the best meats in Northeastern NC. The hot food they serve at the store is delicious. I can eat my fill and then shop for food to take home.
