The Creekside Café moved to its current location in 2005. The restaurant is within walking distance of Ocracoke Village, and offers a great casual dining experience to anyone. Featuring a porch dining atmosphere; a patron can have lunch or dinner while watching the traffic drive through the Village.

History
The restaurant was originally established by a lifelong native of Ocracoke Island, and became a popular eatery for locals and visitors to the village. The Howarth’s added a spacious screened-in porch that is enclosed and heated in the off-season.
Owner/Chef Biography
Hank and Marty Howarth are the owners of The Creekside Café, having purchased the restaurant in 2008. The Howarth’s and their two sons vacationed for years on the Island, and in 2008 decided to forgo their legal careers in Pittsburgh, PA, for a life of operating a restaurant. Marty is actively engaged in the restaurant, whether it‘s tending the bar, cashiering, or assisting in the kitchen. Hank works behind the scene, helping Marty wherever he is needed, from checking a delivery to working in the kitchen.
