History
The Flying Melon Café started in 2004. Before that date the eatery was known as the Trolley Stop, which has been constructed using an actual trolley that toured the Island. Part of the restaurant origins came from an old house on the island. The restaurant was reviewed in Gourmet Magazine in 2008 and Southern Living in April 2009.
