Home of authentic eastern North Carolina BBQ, Sooey's is locally owned and operated. They have been carefully perfecting their special family recipe for over 50 years! Sooey's has three locations; the first is in Corolla in the Monterey Plaza, the second is in Duck in the Scarborough Faire Shopping Village, and the third is in Nags Head at milepost 12.5 across from Jockey's Ridge.

History
Beaman Hines started Sooey’s BBQ in 2001 at the old Jockey’s Ridge Gas station. Beaman bases the menu at Sooey’s on old Hooper and Hines family recipes. Hines started doing catering in 2003 and now has three restaurant locations.
Owner Biography
Beaman Hines is the owner of Sooey’s BBQ and Rib Shack. He grew up on the Outer Banks and went to East Carolina University. He also owns and operates BLH Appliance.
